DR. CHARLES JOHNSON - FUN FACTS Dr. Johnson was born in Oakland, California, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. Consequently this makes him a diehard Oakland Raiders fan! Dr. Johnson is a veteran and has served for many years in both the enlisted and officer ranks of the U.S. Navy. He has worked on board an aircraft carrier, amphibious assault ship, and at an air station in the Philippines. He received a Presidential Letter of Commendation for personal accomplishments while working in an anti-submarine warfare aircraft maintenance facility in San Diego. Dr. Johnson enjoys working in many areas of home remodeling, repair and landscaping, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and masonry. Dr. Johnson takes pride in having performed most repairs and maintenance on all of his vehicles over the past 36 years (when he and his wife were first married). Dr. Johnson is a General Class licensed Ham radio operator, and is an active member of a Northern Colorado emergency communications network. Dr. Johnson has over 40 years of experience in working with electrical and electronic equipment; including computers and home networking systems. Dr. Johnson has 4 children and presently 10 grandchildren.
